The nearest major airport is the Norfolk International Airport, located about 11 miles from the base. Another major airport nearby is the Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. Taxi service is available from the airport.

If arriving by car, take Interstate I-64 East to Interstate 264 East to the first exit, First Colonial Road South. At the light, turn right onto First Colonial which becomes Oceana Boulevard and continue past Oceana's main gate until Oceana Blvd ends at General Booth Boulevard. Merge right onto General Booth Blvd and take first left at stoplight onto Dam Neck Road. Follow Dam Neck Road for 2 miles straight to the Main Gate.
